You may remember my exciting September Saturday when I met Mick Fleetwood at Costco. Thanks to Jonathan Robins & Eric Raphael. He was here to promote his line of wines, which I didn't know existed. The autograph hound in me raced right over to Costco, autograph book & pen in hand, only to find out Mick had tendonitis, or so I was told, & would not be signing. However, feel free to take pictures with him & of him. Not realizing there would be a photo op, I didn't have my nice digital camera with me, so I had to buy one of those 3-paks of 1-time use cameras at Costco.
The line to meet with Mick was all the way around 2 aisles. There were wine people there describing his various wines. One of the guys who travels with him - the wine show, I guess - offered to take pictures of anyone with Mick. Just hand over your little camera. When it was my turn to meet Mick, I gave the guy my little camera & talked to Mick. As we talked, the guy took about 15-20 pictures. I was very happy.
By the way, Fleetwood Mac MAY tour again next year. No promises. But Mick's other band, Island Rumors, will begin touring in Jan. They are a Hawaiian band. Google them.
Two days later I sent them into Snapfish. They were lost for about a month. I was disappointed. Finally, I received the negatives a few days ago. Now I have to take them to Walgreen's to have developed. I've been sick the last couple of days so I just wanted to come home from work. I was actually off work a day & a half. So tonight I will probably take the negatives to Walgreen's & get 2 copies: One copy for my autograph album with Mick's wine brochure & 1 copy just to have. I will also post some of the pictures here. I'm planning on having them put on disc too.
I am very happy about this. I thought I'd lost these pictures, & I was pretty darn sure the opportunity would not present itself again.
